Planting Trees and Enjoying Music
May We Begin 2025 is a grass roots program to plant trees in Western New York. This year they hope to be able to plant 1000 trees w/ shields.
I met with James Weiss, the founder of this tree fundraiser event and the owner of Apple Cove Farm, where the event takes place. We talk this year's event, including the awesome line up of musical talent performing.
When industrial farming clear cut almost 700 acres around his property, his family took the initiative to replant as many trees as possible in their area. With support from musicians, friends, and family, this event continues to grow each year.
